LOST ON MOUNTAIN.

TRAMPERS IN DENSE FOG. TWELVE HOURS ON SLOPES. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH. Monday. Shrouded in dense fog, three trampers spent 12 hours yesterday on the upper slopes of Mount Thomas, near Oxford. They eventually found the road at White Rock, 15 miles away from the point where they started, and where their car was parked. The party, which left Christchurch early yesterday morning, got back at 3 o'clock this morning, little the worse for the experience.
