TIE AROHA CLUB'S MEETINGTRACK RECORD BROKEN. [FROM OTTR OWN CORRESPONDENT.! TE AROHA, Monday. Keen competition was witnessed at the Te Aroha Motor-Cyclo Club's second sports meeting, held at the tiack near Wairakau Creek at the week-end. There were about 700 spectators, and times were good when the rough state of the track is taken into consideration. Tho track record of 235. previously held by Jenson (Norton), of Wailii, and Gray (Norton). of Rotorua. was broken by P. Holmes (A.J.S.), of Te Aroha, who covered the quarter-mile in 22 4-ss.
