PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS RESULTS OF PLAY .YESTERDAY. The Auckland provincial croquet tournament was continued yesterday in fine weather, the various greenj being in splendid older. Following were the lesults:— DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIP. Section A.—At Remuera; Mesdames Dukes and Wilson beat Mesdames Watson and Broughton; Mesdames Cole and Thompson beat Mesdames Parker-HiU and Brabant, and Mesdames Dukes and~\Vilson. and Mesdames T. Section B.—At Mount Hobson: Mesdames Hilton and Gallaher beat Mesdames Pattou and Rugs, and Mesdames Clarkson and Schubert; Mrs. Bruce and Mis 3 Skect beat Mrs. Finch and Miss Brown: Mesdamea C'larkson and Schubert beat Mrs. H. White and Miss Sloman. Section C.—At Mount Eden: Mrs. Davev and Miss Keatley beat Mesdames Laurie and Mcßae, and Mesdames Newman and Henderson; Mesdames Torrance and Hardley beat Mesdames Keep and Day, and Mesdames Windsor and Potter; Mesdames Newman and Henderson beat Mesdames Windsior and Potter; Mesdames Keys and Day beat Mesdames Laurie and Mcßae: Mrs. Davey and Miss Keatley won section C. PROGRAMME FOR TO-DAY. A Grade.—Doubles championship and A. and B doubles handicap, at Remuera "and Mount Hobson: Mesdames J. Clark and Jackson, winners of section A, play Solon, and Percy, winners of section C. at Carlton at 10 a.m.; sections B and C to continue; section D, Mesdames Moses and Dunn play Mesdames Allan and T. M. Clark, also Meudames Spicer and Robertson. Sincles hur.dicap and championship to follow. There will be no play at Mount Eden to-day. INTER - CLUB COMPETITION. The Devonport Club scored 2179 point® in the Auckland Croquet Association's interclub competition during the season iust concluded.
