REDS IN CANADA.
MOVE FOR DEPORTATION. AUTHORITY TO BE SOUGHT. (Received March 1.1. 5.5 p.m.) VANCOUVER, March 12. The movement for the. deportation of agitators is gaining ground in Canada. J fax Herndl, upon the completion of a six-months' sentence for rioting, has been deported to Switzerland. The British Columbia Government has proposed a conference of the western provinces. The Dominion Government's authority is to be sought for the deportation of all agitators. The Vancouver branch of the Veterans' Legion has expelled three members for participation in a parade of unemployed at which the red flag was carried.
