CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH. Auckland.—The weather continued fin o during the week-end, but Saturday afternoon and yesterday were dull and cloudy, tlie wind having changed to the southwest. There was very little movement the barometer, which was steady at 29.95 in. last evening. Wellington.—Tll3 weather was fill?.overcast during the week-end. Tha wind was light f' om 'he south. (Jhristchurch.—Tho weather durinc t"® week-end was dull and cool. On Satur* day a cold easterly wind blew, and , ves ' tcrday the wind was from the south with passing clouds.
Duncdin.—Cloudy conditions on fcstu i r day were followed by light rain at nig ll and yesterday morning. The wind waS fresh from the north-east on Satuidafi but veered to the. south-west yesterday* The barometer is rising and register* 30.15 in.
