MERCANTILE AUXILIARY.
The committee of the Mercantile Auxiliary Club held a most delightful dance on Saturday evening in honour of the officers, engineer officers and cadets of the Cornwall. The. rooms woro attractively decorated with seasonal flowers and coloured streamers. Mrs. A. F. MrArthur, wearing a frock of georgette in autumn tints, received the guests on arrival. The arrangements for the evening were in the. hands of Miss Joyco Dickey, thn music bring supplied by Mr. Trevor Mood v.
Those present included:—Miss Joyce Dickey, wearing a frock of pink and white floral taffeta; Miss Clyde Ifwerscn, palest, pink satin beaute; Miss Evelyn McNeil, Ouhnn orangn georgette.; Miss Hilda. Dickey, green floral georgette; Miss Tsobel Wilson, printernpts lace; Miss Rita Booth, daffodil crepo faille; Miss Hilary Booth, Betty blue taffeta; Miss Margery McArtliur, white georgette trimmed with silver; M iss Moira, Clark, hunters' green lace; Miss Peggy Lee, pale blue floral organdie; Miss Laura. Edgar, jade net; Miss Jean Goudie, flamo chiffon; Miss Ida Veil,i, pink faille; Miss Edna Skeen, ivory taffeta.
