Thorp w;is a very cheery gathering at. the pptcr Pan Cabaret on Saturday overling, when Miss Marjories Low, who was celebrating her 21 sf« birthday, was accorded musical honours by the. popular rotor Pan hand. P>. nunson. black georgette and diamante; Mrs. Albert. Nevilh, lioney-coloured taffeta; Mrs. J. B. O'Loghlcn, white satin and georgette; M-fs Molly Mitchelson, ivory satin gown, with (i-nmante relief; Miss Maud MacMillan, black georgette with laco friils; Mi.'s .Tooelyn Bloornfield, ivory satin; Miss Ts(inico Ogilvie, green organdie; Miss Mnrjorie Low, black taffeta with pink lace frills; Miss Dorothy Low, Lido blue taffeta ; Miss June Donald, black taffeta: Miss Joan Gordon, black lace and georgette; Miss Joy Pearson, Wellington,' peach satin beanie; Miss Barbara Stead man, blue embossed chenille; Miss Gweneth Olive, ivory satin with a touch of scarlet'.
dixieland. Quantifies of vividly-coloured dahlias and zinnias decorated the cabaret on Saturday evening, hanging baskets of ferns adding a soft note of green to the decorative scheme. In the vestibule weie palms as well as ferns. The band, under Mr. H. Nielson played the latest numbers.
