Vew Zealand was well to tho fore at the Rosrhill autumn meeting yesterday, there bring a distinct Dominion flavour about the result of neulv every race. Amnion Ra, fresh from his successes in Victoria, scored a" very comfortable victory in tho Rawson Stake;,. Nightmarch created surprise bv narrowly defeating Veilmond for second honours. All three placed horses were bred in New Zealand. Nightmarch's display was very promising in view of his important coming engagements. He arrived from New Zealand only on Tuesday, and after serving at the stud had had only one other race this season, when lie rar second to Cricket Pat- in the James Hazlett Gold Cup at Dunedin last month. Panther, who is now trained at Randwick for his Wellingtor owner, won the Kosehill Autumn Handicap by half a length f rom Carry On, last year's Australian Cup winner. Chide was third. Rafflight, Mho was bred in Australia but did his early racing in Auckland, narrowly won the Three rnd Four-year-old Handicap in an exciting finish. The New Zealand trainer, A. D. Webster, took the I'arramatta Mile with his Australian purchase My Talisman, ridden by his son, T. Webster. Cvlanta was second, and Love Song, who was sold by J. H. Jefferd last October, was third.
