A team of Auckland tennis players visited Paero.% yesterday and played the Thames Valley Tenuis Association's team, which they defeated by 22 sets to three. The tennis was of a very high standard, and Ihe games were evenly contested. "J ho feature of the play was the singles match between Dr. I'tray and E. L. Bartleet when Gray won by two straight sets, almost every game being a deuce game. Tn the evening the Auckland players were entertained at dinner and later at a dance by tho Thames Valley Association. Following were the results: — Men's Singles.—E. L. Bartleet lost 1o Pr.
