THE WRECK OF THE TEDDY.

Sir.—On behalf of my boat, I beg space to correct a. mistake that has arisen in connection with my loss last Wednesday. The report in your paper stated that I was accustomed to her missing stays. This, to any seaman, was obviously an error, and oil behalf of my Teddy I would like landsmen to know that the word should have been " unaccustomed." riot " accustomed," because never has the Teddy turned a seaman down. I need not describe my many difficulties off Hawaii on that fateful day, save to say that the ship was not- to blame. She never missed stays. That is all I have t 0 sa y. Bruno Tambs.
