SUCCESSFUL BALL HELD. [Htf TEI.E'GRArH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. J TAURANGA, Saturday. The Jubilee Ball held in the Town Hall last evening attracted a very largo attendance. Many of the dancers were attired in fancy costume, and the funct'on was one of the most successful hc.d at Tauranga in recent years. During the evening, the deputy-mayor, Mr. C. Whiting, made reference to th» effort s of the Mayoress, Mrs. B. Gs Rubbins, In promoting the success of tbf carnival, and presented her with • bouquet.
