COPPERS IN COLLECTION.
OVER 600 IN BOXES. Small coins predominated in the collection taken up at a community dancing function in Christchurch last week, the total amount received, £1.5 10s 6d, being disappointingly small, considering the largo number of people prcsem. The collection boxes contained 120 halfpennies, 540 pennies, 400 threepences and 201 sixpences. Shillings and larger silver coins constituted £3 of the total amount.
