IMPERIAL PENSIONS.
BENEFIT FROM EXCHANGE. PAYMENTS NOW TO BE MADE. Advice regarding the payment of exchange on Imperial service pensions has been received by Mr. W. E. Cayley-Alex-ander, president, of tho To Kuili and District Returned Soldiers' Association, from Mr. J. 11. Boyle, commissioner of pensions. In his communication, jvhich was in answer to a letter from the association, Jlr. Boyle stated that, under an arrangeiinent recontly completed, Imperial ser vice pensioners residing in New Zealand would receive the benefit of tho exchange position.
Payment of ordinary instalments would not. be affected, tho letter stated, but, at half-yearly intervals, supplementary payments made up of exchange for the preceding six months would be issued from tho Pensions Office. Tho arrears clue for tlie past two years were being calculated and would be issued shortly with an explanatory noto to each pensioner.
