The Senate to-day passed the Financial Agreement Enforcement Bill with amendments. INTEREST DEFAULT. QUESTION IN COMMONS. NEW SOUTH WALES DEBTS. LONDON, March 10. In the House of Commons Sir J. Haslam (Conservative —Bolton) asked whether it was proposed to add any Australian loans to the Treasury trustee list under the 1900 Act, without revision of the terms and safeguards to protect the trustees against a recurrence of the recent delay in interest payments by the New South Wales Government. Sir V. Warrender, a Lord Commissioner of the Treasury, replied that he was not aware that any new Australian loan was in prosp.ect. The question, therefore. had not arisen.

The reply does not, however, satisfy tho questioner, and a further question will be tabled asking for the removal of New South Wales stocks from the trustee list, or for the publication of a notification of default as a warning against further evasion.
