SUSPENDED CONSTRUCTION. government assistance. PARIS, Feb. 3. The Senate approved an advance to the French Shipping Lftie of £BBO,OOO to enable work to be resumed on the liner lie de France. The construction of the vessel was stopped owing to financial stress, for a period of six mouths, pending the reconstruction of the company.
