historic event recalled. INTERESTING MARRIAGE. A descendant of the British admiral who fought the Danish fleet at tho Battla of Copenhagen, in 1801, has been married in the Danish capital to a charming Copenhagen society girl. Who does not know of the famous incident at, the Battle'of Copenhagen, when Nelson, recalled from the fight,"placed a telescope to his blind eye and affected not to see tho signal? The result was a victory for the British fleet. It was Admiral Sir Hyde Parker who commanded tha British' fleet and vainly gave Nelson that order to withdraw. It is Sir William Hyde Parker, Bt., a descendant of the Admiral, who has conducted the successful modern "engage, ment" in Denmark. Sir William was formerly a lieutenant in the Ist Dragoon. Guards. The family seat is at Melford Hall, Long Melford, Suffolk. ... . . The new Lady Parker was Miss Ulia Nielsen, member of a distinguished Danish, family. She ba* waited England and speaks Engliah fluently. $
