A bomb was thrown at tho Emperor Hirohito of Japan as he was returning from a military review to the palace. His Majesty was passing the metropolian police headquarters when the bomb was thrown. It' exploded on the trannvay line and the Emperor was not harmed. The thrower of the bomb was arrested immediately. He is believed to bo a Korean. Others in the vicinity were also arrested on suspicion.
