DRIVER'S LUCKY ESCAPE. [IJV TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHAKATANE, Monday. A resident of Gisborne, Mr. Low, who was returning from a holiday at Rotorua, had a narrow escape from severe injury when his car overturned crossing the Whakataue Bridge this afternoon. Mr. Low, who was driving alone, escaped with slight abrasions, but the car was extensively damaged.
