The Ngingongingo appeal caso will bo heard in Christclmrcli next Friday. The three appeal judges are Mr. H. F. Nicoll, of Ashburton, president of the New Zenland Trotting Conference, who will be chairman of the tribunal, Mr. B. S. Irwin, of Dunedin, president of the Forbury Park Trotting Club, and Mr. A. T. Donnelly, of Clnistchurch, Crown solicitor. Tho case arises out of the sentence of disqualification for 12 months imposed upon Ngingongingo and his driver, Andrew liryce, after winning the Labour Day Handicap at Epsom on October 20. An appeal by Bryce on behalf of tho horse and himself was upheld by tho New Zealand Trotting Association, and the Auckland Trotting Club is now appealing against this decision. Mr. C. J Schnauer. chairman of the judicial committee of the Auckland Trotting Club, leaves for Christchurch on Wednesday night to represent tho club at the hearing of tho appeal. REHANDICAPS FOR WAIPA.
