TRADE TREATY POSSIBLE.
CANADA AND BRAZIL. OTTAWA. Sept. 17. ft is reported that Canada and Brazil may negotiate a trade treaty shortly. None exists at present, but it is understood that Brazil is giving serious and favourable consideration to the matter of changing Its system of a single schedule, of tariffs to a bilateral method of preferred and non-preferred rates.
