AMATEUR ATHLETICS.

UNIVERSITY COLLEGE CLUB. The following ofTioers were elected at the annual meeting. of the .University* College Amateur AthlcrV Club: -President. Browne. A. LI Hill, E. IT. Blow, C. Gavin. ,T Henderson, delegates to Auckland Centre, Messrs. (j J Scaata and IT C. Garlick. It was resolved that any athlete wishing trf represent the college at the University tournament muet register for the preceding season with the University Club. A motion of congratulation to the past captain of (lie club, Mr. J. S. Watt, who won a Rhodes Scholarship soon afteT his election as captain, was carried by acclamation. Trophies won during the harrier season wero presented as follows: —Kohn Cup. J. Ma goo (28 points): runner-up. L. Ross (2-1 points); club championship. N. F. Cooper; novice championship. A. Ball: handicaps, A. B. Browne and R. C. Haszard.
