RELIC OF THE DUNBAR.

CAPTAIN GREEN'S CHAIR. A chair which was made for Captain James Green, of the wrecked ship Dunbar, by the carpenter, is now in possession of Mrs. F. M. Reid, of Willoughby, SydneyThe Dunbar was wrecked at the Gap, near South Head, on August 20, 1857, with 8 loss of 121 lives. The chair was picked up on Balmoral Beach by Mrs. Reid's grandfather, Mr Harry Russell, who was among the search ers for bodies. It is of substantial buM and is said to have been made so in order that the captain might indulge in b'j favourite sitting posture, with his fe e * on the mantelshelf of his cabin, withou breaking the chair. The relic has been in possession of to# family for 74 years. Mrs. Reid has fused many tempting offers for it.
