ARE YOU MOODY?
BY A DOCTOR. Moods come to most of us, but we should not allow thorn to get the better fit or us too easily. To be entirely a victim to moods is to be at the mercy of circumstances. We become human weather-vanes, tossed by every emotional storm. Those who are highly strung and temperamental fight an unequal battle, and it is difficult to fight one's very nature. Still, that is no excuse for giving up the struggle. Each time we give in to an undesirable mood we are making the next tight harder for ourselves, and a condition of chronic " touchiness " may soon be the result. Look after your general health. Certain moods have their origin in some bodily fault. Ihe irascibility of gout, the irritability of liverishness, the peevishness of indigestion, the melancholy of pancreatic disorder, the depression of toxaemia, and the excessive nervousness and excitability of thyroid oversecretion aro familiar examples. Bv controlling your moods you will control your destiny.
