CHILEAN NAVY'S PAY.
MEN OBJECT TO REDUCTION. ULTIMATUM TO GOVERNMENT. VALPARAISO, Sept. 1. The crews of the vessels in tho Chilean battle fleet at Coquimbo, its winter quarters, revolted to-day and forced their officers to sign a virtual ultimatum to the Government, stating that tho Navy will not permit tho proposed reductions in salaries.
