CHARGES OF RECEIVING.

TWO MEN UNDER ARREST. SEQUEL TO THEFT OF JEWELS. Two arrests connected with recent large thefts of jewellery and goods from houses were made by the police yesterday. Late in the afternoon John Andrade, aged 69, appeared before Mr. C. M. Fenwick, J.P., on a charge of receiving stolen property. He was remanded to appear in the Police Court this morning. bail being allowed in the sum of £IOO. Another man who was arrested on a similar charge will also appear in Court this morning.
