The Government has issued a drastic decree prohibiting the sale cr trans;erence or mortgage of any real or perscnal propertv of t.n.s gpamsh o* wie religious orders. The banks are also instructed to prevent acv exodus of Church capital irom Spain and stockbrokers are forbidden to deal in shares held in the names of the Jesuits or other religious orders.. Ex-Sing Alfonso's palace has become the property of the people and in September will be converted, together with its priceless treasures, into a museum.
