FOOTBALL FIELD MISHAPS.

INJURIES FROM KICKS. PLAYERS SENT TO HOSPITAL. Three footballers, all of -whom wero playing in a match between Oratia and Waitemata at Oratia on Saturday, were taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance suffering from injuries resulting from kicks. G. Cahill, aged 28, of Henderson, and J. Ladbrook, aged 24, of 17, Veronica Avenue, Mount Albert, both received concussion. M. Jelich, aged 20, of Oratia, was treated in the casualty ward for injuries to one ear. He was able to go home. None of the men was seriously hurt.
