The assistant Bishop-elect of Melanesia, the Rev. J H. Dickenson, preached in St. Mary's Cathedral last evening. In

the course of his sermon ho recalled the fact that from Auckland had been sent out such men as Selwyn and Pattison and countless others to show the meaning of the love of God. "Jfc is you who send us forth in the
