CHILEAN SAILOR FORGETS. PLEASANT TIME IN SYDNEY. Through missing his ship in Sydney, a young Chilean naval trainee, Miguel Munoz, had to be sent on to Auckland by the Sonoma, which arrived from Sydney on Saturday. He will rejoin his ship, tho General Baquedano, on its arrival from Sydney this afternoon. The young sailor, who cannot speak English, explained through an interpreter that he made some friends during the ship's stay in Sydney and had such a pleasant time at their home that he forgot tho sailing time of his ship. When ho looked for her she was gone. lie immediately went to the Chilean Consul, who sent him on to Auckland by the Sonoma.
