FISHERMAN MISSING.

LOSS OF LIFE FEARED.

CLOTHES FOUND ON BEACH.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] GISBORNE, Thursday;

A young man, Richard Anstruther Burson, has been missing since Tuesday evening, and it is beleived that -he has been drowned. His clothes and -a hurricane lamp were fqund on the beach.

Burson had been in ' the* habit when fishing of removing his clothes and going out into the suif with a line. It ia feared that the heavy seas on Tuesday evening overwhelmed him. He cama from Australia and had no relatives in this country. He was 25 years of age.
