WILUNA ORE RESERVES
WESTERN AUSTRALIA PROJECT.
Exploration and development in the southern mine of Wiluria Gold Corporation, limited, Western Australia, have proveci the existence of 1.500,000 tons of ore in tiie east and west lodes to the present depth, and indicated the probable existence of an additional equal tonnage lo the bottom «>f the main shaft at 800 ft. below the surface This is confined to lengths of aboiit 1600 ft. in the east lode and IJOOft. in the west lode respectively, along their northerly strikes. This information is contained in a report by Mr. C. O hind berg, who states that the estimated recoveries and costs are well within the bounds of probabilities, and an operating profit of 10s a ton should be realised.
Attention should be directed toward more intensive development to the north, and f:60.000 appropriated for that work. Should the result bo as satisfactory as expect pj , the plant capacity should be increased to at least 50,000 tons monthly, which would involve an expenditure not to exceed £50,000. At this greater capacity, earnings would increase at a rate that would more than justify the expense involved and provide an attractive return on the invested capital for many years to come.
