The New Zealand cricketers continued their first innings against Leicestershire at Leicester this morning and took the score to -134 for eight wickets and then declared. The weather was dull and the attendance moderate. Page made a sterling century in 230 minutes, hitting with greater freedom than he did on Saturday, scoring well on the oif. He was caught at cover when trying to force the pace. Weir hatted steadily and Lowry and Talbot liit hard, Talbot being particularly vigorous against Geary's bowling.
