A return of arrears of interest and instalments owing at March 51 was presented to the last meeting of tlio Rural Intermediate Credit Board. Although it had been necessary to postpone the payment of principal reductions in some cases, the arrears of interest were small. The position was the subject of favourable comment by members of tho board.
