KOPUARAHI FATALITY.

accidental drowning. [KJSOXI Opr. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] THAMES, Monday. The coroner, Mr. W. H. Lucas, held an inquest yesterday into the death of Miss Morecraft, whose body was found in a water-trough on her brother-in-law s farm at Kopuaraiii on Saturday. Witnesses staled that deceased was in her usual health. They thought she must have slipped when crossing the stile, which was one of the walls of the trough. Her disability, due to deformed feet, no doubt contributed to the fatality. The coroner returned a verdict of accidental death.
