Another furriers' establishment was raided by burglars on Saturday iiiglit, when about £SOO worth of stock was removed from the Hudson Fur Company, George Street. The thieves had little difficulty in removing ;ho glass from the fresh putty setting of a newly-fitted window. They then bent back the iron bars to allow of entry. TAILOR'S SHOP ENTERED. TIIEFT OF MATERIAL. By forcing tho front door, thieves broko into tho tailoring establishment of James Todd and Company, at 8, Wakefield Street, City, during tho week-end. No moncv was secure], tho intruders stealing two lengths of blue serge, ono valued at £6 and the other at £5, from a counter. Entrance was gained through the front door, which was locked and barred cn the inside and secured by a padlock cn the outside. The thieves broke the padlock and then forced the floor with a jemmy, splintering the lintel. On leaving the intruders closed the door, which was not locked again. In the past several attempts have been ntado to enter the shop, tho thieves working from the back of the premises.
