COMBINED CLUBS' EVENTS.
CRUISING AND' HARBOUR RACES.
DECLARATION OF HANDICAPS. Combined harbour and cruising races will be held by the Akarnna Yacht Club and the Victoria Cruising Club to-morrow afternoon. Tho keel'yachts,' mullet boats and launchefl will race to Matiatia, and the smaller classes will compete over a harbour course. All races will start off King's Wharf, the starting lino being between the wharf and a buoy moored north. Tho course for tho criiising races, is from starting lino, direct to Matiatia, observing Sandspit beacon, Bean rock lighthouse and Brown's Island beacon, finishing between south-west point of tho bay and tho launch Pal o' Mino moored north. Tho course for the harbour races is from starting lino, tllence round Sandspit beacon, thence round Resolution buoy, thence round the outer mark of starting line, twice round, keeping all marks on starboard. This course may bo reversed, in which caeo marks must bo passed on port. Tho starting times are as follows; Keel yachts. 2.30 p.m.; II and I classes, 2.38 p.m.; L and N classes, 2.46 p.m.; launches, 2.54 p.m.; M class, 3.2 p.m.; V and S classes, 3.10 p.m.; T X and Y classes, 3.18 p.m. The entries and handicaps are as follows : AKARANA YACHT CLUB. The Manukau Cruising Club's cruising races to Cornwallis, which were postponed last Saturday oiving to "the death of Mr. W. Wright, will be held to-morrow afternoon. The races for yachts and motorioatSj will both stprt to a flying start on No 2 course, start between end of main wharf and Mangere ChurcH. The yachts will start at 2.15 o'clock and the motorboat b at 3.15 o'clock. ' The finishing time limit is sunset. . .
