NAMING THE SUBMARINE.

JULES VERNE'S NAUTILUS

(Received March. 15, 5.5 p.m.) PARIS, March 14.

M. Jean Verne, a grandson of the late Jules Verne, the novelist, has gone to America to christen Sir Hubert Wilkins' submarine, the Nautilus.

M. Verne will not accompany the expedition, but says ho is confident it will succeed. The submarine gets its name from one of his grandfather's novels.
