AUSTRALIAN TREATMENT.
PROTEST IN PARLIAMENT. (Received Maxell. 15. 5.5 p.m.). ROME. March 14. Protests against the recent refusal of Australia to admit Italian migrants were made in the course of a debate on emigration in the Chamber of Deputies. Measures were demanded to avoid a repetition of such happenings. Italy's emigrants last year totalled 280,000, compared with 740,000 in 1913.
