HAWKE'S BAY STUDENT.

TRAGIC END AT GLEBE. (Received March 15. 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 15. John L. Maxwell Lefroy, aged 20, described as an engineering undergraduate from the Hawke's Bay earthquake area, who recently arrived in Sydney to take up a course at the University, was found dead in a gas-filled room at Glebe.

The room was sealed and the gas ap parentlv had been on for 24 hours.
