MERCHANTS AND TAILORS. The first annual picnic of the woollen merchants and Auckland tailors was held in ideal weather at the Swaneon Park on bat-* urday afternoon. There was a laige attendance, and competition was keen in the running and novelty events held durina: ..ifje afternoon.
