RECORDING DOES PAY.
During the depression which has been so keenly felt by dairy cattle brooders it lias been constantly urged, says an English authority, that (he most profitable way to decrease tho surplus of dairy products is to keep accurate lccoids on the producing ability of cows. A year ago 552 breeders had 2686 Guernsey cows 011 test in tho Advanced Register of tho American G.C.C. At the present time 731 brooders are testing 3827 pure-bred Guernsey cows, an increase of 42 per cent, in one year. One breeder recently wrote" Tho added milk which we got when tho cows are on official test pays for the testing."
