The Bank of New Zealand lias received (he following advice from its London office as at close of business this week: —
Wethers. —If the present demand continues prices may go higher. Ewes: Smaller supplies have caused prices to harden. Lambs: The market is more active owing to increased demand. Beef: The market is dull. Trade generally is brighter with a better demand. Quotations :—Wethers, light, 3d to per lb.; heavy, 3d to 3jd. Ewes, to Lambs: Twos. 6d to 6gd; eights, 6d to 6>Jd; fours, 6d to 63d, seconds, to 5Jd. Ox hinds, to 3gd; fores, 2£d to 23d. Cow hinds, 3d to 3£d; fores, 2jd to 2£d.

Wheat.—Demand for cargoes is inactive and sellers are willing to accept lower terms owing to liberal clearances ;md increased quantities afloat. Parcels are quiet and unchanged. Futures, London: April, 19s 6d per quarter; June, 19s Bd. Liverpool; March, 4s ljd per cental; May, 4s 3d; July, 4s 4 5-8 d; October, 4s 6^d.
CHICAGO FUTURES. CHICAGO, March 14
Wheat.--March, 79£ cents per bushel May, 82 7-8 cents; July, 62 5-8 cents September, 62$ cents.
DAIRY PRODUCE PRICES
A. II: Turn bull and Company has received tho following report from W. Weddel and Company, Ltd., dated London, March 13: Butter, Danish, 140s to 1425; New Zealand, nnsalted, 124s to 128s; salted, 118s to 120s; market firm. Cheese:. New Zealand, white, 55s to 575; coloured, 57s to 595; Canadian, white and coloured, 74s to 78s; market steady. The New Zealand Co-operative Marketing Association, Ltd., has received the following advice, dated London, March 13:—
Butter, steady, with more inquiry: New Zealand, salted, 118s to 120s; unsalted, 124s to 128s; Danish, 140s to 1425. Cheese: Steady, white, 55s to 575; coloured, 57s to 595.
RABBITSKIN SALES. (Received March 15, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 14. At flio London rabliitskins sales 2516 were offered and 1371 were sold. There was an erratic market. Hatters' sorts: Good, declined 10 to 15 per cent.; poor were firm to 10 per cent, higher. Furriers' sorts: Bucks advanced 20.t0 25 per cent.; good does 10 per cent.; spotty does fetched about hatters' prices.
Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having received the following cablegiam from its London house, dated March 1 Rabbitskins.—A total of 2516 bales was offered and 1370 bales sold. The market is very irregular, furriers bucks, winter s late 20 per cent, higher; furriers' does, firm to rather dearer; spotty does neglected, when sold realised hatters prices. Racks, light, 25 per cent, lower; no demand, very liltlo sold. lulling hatters, 10 per cent, to 15 per cent, lower; poor demand. Inferior descriptions,'batters, par to 10 percent, higher. Competition good.

The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, reports as follows on stock sales held at the week-end.— At Putaruru there was a full yarding of cattle and sheep penned, when practically everything changed hands at late quotations. Quotations were: Prime hea\y fat ewes, lis; fat lambs. 9s: mixed sex. woolly lambs, 5s 2d; cull ewes. Is 9d to Ms Id; one-shear Southdown rams, 2gns. to Signs.; other rams, 10s (id to £1; medium fat cows and heifers, £3 9s to £4 3s; light-. £'■> lis to £3 '2s (id; forward conditioned cows, £1 17s to £'2 lis; store cows. £1 2s (id to £1 12s; boner cows lis to 18s; Jersey and Jersey-cross lieiter calves, i.i Gs to £1 8s; Shorthorn heiler calves, las to £L 7s; Bteer calves, to ISs; Gs to £4; heifers, close to prolit, £o to i.o 5s store pigs. 18s to £1 7s: weaners, 5s Gd to 8s (id. At Ngaruawahia, there was an a vera go yarding of stock and late rates ruled throughout. Prices were:—Light {at £4 Is to £G 2s (id: good fat cows, fa to £5 6s; light fat cows and heifers, £~ 12s to £4 Is; forward conditioned cows. 35s to £2 (is; store cows, £1; 18-montlis Shorthorn steers, £2 15s to £2 17s; Shorthorn heifers, r.w.b., £2 17s to £3 15s: potter bulls. 10b to £2: springers. £4 15b to £6. There was an average yarding at, Wainou of cattle, and prices were slightly easier than late quotations. There was a full yarding of fat and store pigs, several lines of choice baconers sold under keen competition, prices being slightly better than previous sales, A line or 80 prime baconers on ivccount of Mr. James Wlntten. Ie Aroha. averaged £2 10 s; 43 medium bnconers. on account of Mr. J. SkitTiuglon. Waihou. average £'2 fis.
