TENDERS FOR TAR-SEALING. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] "WAIHI, Thursday. The Wailii Borough Council has decided to continue Saturday afternoon as the statutory weekly half-holiday. Tenders for the tar-sealing of 91 chains of the main . highway between Waihi and Paeroa and within the borough were opened and it was decided to recommend the acceptance of that of Messrs. Isherwood and Bellam, of Auckland (£1598) to the Main Highways Board.
