COTTON TRADE CRISIS.

MILLS IN LANCASHIRE. UNIONS WITHDRAW LABOUR. (Recoived January 1, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. Dec. 31. The Lancashire Weavers' Association, which :-s supported by nine unions with a membership of 290,000, has decided to withdraw all labour from mills where the system of more looms per weaver has been introduced. This decision threatens a serious stoppage in the cotton industry on Monday, and a standstill of the whole trade in a few .weeks.
