CKARGE OF FORGERY.
ACCUSED REFUSED BAIL. [by telegraph.—ovrx correspondent.} HAMILTON. Thursday. A charge of forgery with respect to a cheque for £l2 was preferred against a young man, Sydney John Badams, in the Hamilton Magistrate's Court to-day. Detective-Sergeant Thompson said a number of other charges would be preferred against accused. A remand until January 7 was granted. Bail was refused.
