DAVIDSON—MELVILLE. The marriage} of Miss Mavis Melville, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Melville, of Murdoch Street, Grey Lynn, to Mr. Raymond Davidson, fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Davidson, of Ilaekett Street, Ponsonby, was celebrated at Ail Saints' Church last evening. The Rev. W. W. Averill performed the ceremony, and Dr. S. K. Phillips played the wedding music. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of ivory satin beaute, cut on simple lines, with a low, slanting waistline, from which the flared skirt fell to tlie ankles. Her embroidered Brussels net veil formed a long train and was arranged on the head with a coronet of silver and orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses- and sweet peas. In attendance as bridesmaid was Miss Belle Campbell, of Rotorua, who wore a frock of apple-green georgette with a shoulder cape, and a picture hat of green crinoline swathed with flame satin ribbon. She carried a shower bouquet of tea roses and pink sweet peas The litt lo flower girl, Eileen Lowndes, was in an ankle-length frock of shell pink frilled crepe de chine, and a pink lace Dutch cap. The marriage of Miss Doris Margaret Goodwin, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Goodwin, of Mount Eden, to Mr. Alfred William Garrett, second son of Mr. Walter Garrett, was celebrated at St. Benedict's Church on Saturday afternoon. the Rev. Father Bennett officiating. The bride entered the church with her father to the strains of the Wedding March," played l>v Mr. W. Coleman. She wore a frock of" palest pink georgette, the bodice being relieved with a spray of orange blossom, while the long skirt, which reached to the ankles, had panels and tiny frills with flared insets. The net vcii, which formed the train, was caught at the head with a coronet of orange blossom and pearls. She carried a bouquet of pale pink roses, stocks, sweet peas and maidenhair fern. 'llie bridesmaid, Miss Valtna Morris, wore a frock of shell pink georgette, the anklelength skirt being frilled at the sides, with a large bow at the back. The marriage took place at St. John's Anglican Church, Tuakau, on Wednesday last of Miss Evelyn Myrtle Booker, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Bookei, of Tuakau, to Mr. George Osborne, only sot. of ilr. and Mrs. G. Osborne, of Auckland. The Rev. C. A. Vaughan conducted the ceremony. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a frock of ivory crepe de chine relieved with silver lace." Avondale, of Miss Ettie White, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. White, of Whakatanc, to Mr. Colin Prince, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Prince, of I.ayard Street. Avondale. The Rev. 11. J. L. Goldthorpe, officiated, and Mr. R. Hoskiti played the wedding music. The bride, who "was given away by Mr. Blundoll, wore a charming frock of Ascot blue georgette, the bodice being made with a bolero effect and joined to a flared skirt which fell to the ankles, From the shoulders hung two streamers which were tied t„ a bow at the waist. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Keith Darrow as best man. The reception was held in St. Judo's Hall, upwards of 50 guests attending. SOLOMON —WILLS. Tho wedding of Miss Jessio Evelyn Wills, fifth daughter of Mrs. E. and the late Mr. Wills, of Luke Street, Otahuhu, to Mr. Joseph William Solomon, only son of Mr. and Mrs. E. If. Solomon, of Massey Road, Mangere, was celebrated in the Holy Trinity Church, Otahuhu, on Saturday. Tho ceremony was performed by the Rev. 11. If. Bedford, and wedding music was played by Mr. A. J. White. The service was fully choral, and the church was decorated with a floral arch and a wedding boll. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. William Wiils, wore an ankle-length frock of white georgette and cream lace. Her veil of embroidered tulle, which was held in place with a Juliet cap of pearls and diamante, fell in graceful folds to form a train. She carried a bouquet of cream roses and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaids were Miss E. Houghton and Miss B. Solomon, sister of tiie bridegroom. They wore period frocks of embroidered shot taffeta, Lhc former in a shade of delphinium blue and the latter in a lemon shade. Both wore crinoline hats to match their gowns and carried a bouquet of roses in shades of lemon and pink. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and maidenhair fern. _ Mrs. Solomon was in brown crepe do chine and silk lace with a Bangkok hat, and carried a bouquet of salmon pink roses and maidenhair fern TRELOAR —DENNESS. Tho wedding took place recently at St. Alban's Church, Dominion Road, of Miss Ethel Denness, second daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. Denness, of Auckland, to Mr. Joseph Treloar, only son of Mrs. Lowry and the late Mr. Treloar, of Greymoutii. The Rev. Mr. Greenwood officiated, and Mrs. Clough played the wedding music. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. N. J. Denness, wore a close-fitting ankle-length frock of pink satin beaute. Her veil of embroidered pink silk net, which formed a train, was held in place with a coronet of orange blossom, and she carried a pink shower bouquet. The three ,sisters of the bride were her bridesmaids. Miss May Denness wore a, frock of lime georgette with cape collar and a bandeau of tulle. Miss Hazel and Miss Madge Denness were frocked alike in mauve georgetto with caps of tulle, and all carried bouquets to tone with their frocks. Mr. A. \\. Denness was best man. A reception was afterwards held at tho residence of the bride's mother, who received her guests wearing a lace and georgette ensemble with hat to tone and carried a sheaf of bronze irises.
