CONFERENCE AT KUMEU.

A conference of delegates from tho Presbyterian churches of Hobsonvillo and surrounding districts was held in tho Kumeu Public Hall, when the moderator of tho charge, Rev. Evan Iferries, presided. A feature of the afternoon was the official welcome to tho new homo mis sioner. Mr. J. More, who said that after his brief survey of the, district churches ho had every confidence of progress in the work ahead.
The balance-sheet was presented and showed a very satisfactory position. Reports were received from delegates representing the. churches of Hobsonville, Kumeu, Taupaki, Waitakero and Whenuapai.
