CAPSIZE AND FIRE.
TWO MOTORISTS BURNED. VEHICLE FALLS OVER BANK. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] OTAKI, Monday. A motor-car containing Messrs. A. J. Dennis, F. W. Dennis, J. Merrick, .T. Gregory and R. McLeod, all of \N ellington. was proceeding from Wanganui yesterday when, near Waikanae, a tyreburst, causing the car to sway and capsize over a bank, where it burst into flames. Messrs. McLeod, Gregory and Merrick, who were in the back seat, were able to get free, but the first-mentioned received head injuries. The brothers Dennis were severely burned. They were taken to hospital by Dr. Milne, and after their wounds were dressed they left for home by ambulance. The car was destroyed.
