TRIBUTE TO H. BLACK. MIRAMAR CLUB GATIIERING. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Monday. Tho members of the Miramar Golf Club assembled on Saturday to honour Mr. Harold Black, winner of the Now Zealand amateur golf championship. Tho president. Mr. A. E. Mabin. paid tribute to Mr. Black's performances and expressed the thanks of ihe members. _ Ho said it was the first occasion on which the Now Zealand championship had been won by a member of tho Miramar Club. Tho club captain! Mr. Crombie. spoke highly of the credit Mr. Black had earned for his home club. Mr. Black was presented with a carriage clock. Kenny will meet F. T. Halligan. The trophy presented by Mr. I'. W. Bliss, for junior players, wus won by D. Mackie, with a score of 69. P. Johnson was the runner-up, with TC.
