The Government meteorologist reported last evening as follows:—Yesterday's depression has crossed the Dominion, but a following anti-cyclone is of slight intensity and is centred far north. Pressure has again fallen rapidly at Hobnrt. Indications are for moderate to strong north-west to west winds, backing iu places temporarily to south-west. Seas rough on west coast and about Cook and l'oveaux Straits. Moderate to strong south-west, to west, and later north-west winds and rather rough seas in the eastern Tnsman.
